Eiffage Métal took part in the renovation and lengthening of the Méricourt lock (78)
60 km from Paris, to the north-west of Mantes-la-Jolie (78), our Eiffage Métal teams have been working on the renovation and lengthening of the Méricourt locks, restoring the winder equipment on the site's two structures. The home stretch: the installation of the downstream lifting gate at Lock 1.
Key figures:
- 1 lock 17 m wide and 185 m long
- 1 80-tonne lift gate equipped with 4 gantries
- 1 15-tonne safety shield
This is the final stage in a project that will have lasted 44 months and enabled our teams in Le Havre to consolidate their experience in the river sector and equipment renovation.
Congratulations to our teams! Thank you to Voies navigables de France for their confidence!
